I can certainly attest to the large quantities of stock pouring in right now from Hasbro and many other manufacturers. We are getting buried in product right now.
EVERYTHING seems to be hitting now: Hasbro, Mattel, NECA, Super7, McFarlane, etc. It’s way too much stuff (Maybe I should buy less?). I’ve had to make 2 CC payments this month. I hope Hasbro et. al. will be getting back to a normal release reschedule by next year.

What do you mean? McFarlane hasn’t had any issues at all, Mattel outside of Walmart exclusives has been fine and a bunch of others. Hasbro is the only one who has been way off.
Manufacturing costs are projected to rise next year, especially in China and Vietnam. Economists have warned against a 2 week shut down, let alone 2 years of unproductively.

And it’s happening again with Amazon shipping Classified Series figures and Star wars the black series figures that weren’t supposed to ship until well into the new year.
I work in the logistics field and have noticed a few shipping lanes open up. Lately our local stores have been getting more black series figures in. I think its odd because they rarely and I mean every 5 months rarely restock any star wars figures. So the up tic in activity could be due to active recession planning or sandbagging dates. at this point it could be a number of things. Personally I’m just glad to have them in stock at the moment. ๐
I don’t preorder anymore because I find the figures early at stores ๐
